“Faith is taking the first step even when you don't see the whole staircase”, Martin Luther King Jr.

To facilitate thematic exchange among projects, several Thematic Poles are defined by the critical mass of projects addressing each topic. Defining Thematic Poles was the first step and afterwards the Poles were presented the capitalisation methodology as a tool for structured guidance.

Each Thematic Pole nominated a pole leader, responsible for coordinating the pole's activities and facilitating the flow of information within the pole, as well as to the DTP JS. The EUSDR Priority Area Coordinators are part of the Thematic Poles and in such a way ensure that the Poles’ activities are streamlined with the EUSDR Priority Areas.

DTP projects are at the core of the Thematic Poles, they own the process of synergy-building and capitalisation. The DTP JS supports this process in terms of communication and coordination, collecting the outcomes of each Thematic Pole and making sure it reaches programme bodies, stakeholders and other Interreg programmes. Moreover, the DTP Capitalisation Strategy is open to projects coming from other EU-funded programmes and from other funding instruments, which may give an added-value to the capitalisation process within each TP.

Taking this into regard, the first phase shall be focused on a synergy building among projects and we truly believe this shall open room to new approaches, solutions and improvements.

We invite you to follow the work of Thematic Poles as the web page will be updated constantly.
