Danube Energy+ - the project was presented at the CE-Connector International Day held on 25.11.2020

Dr. Tamara Högler, representative of InnoEnergy Germany GmbH and project coordinator of Danube Energy+ project, was invited to moderate a session at the CE-Connector International Day and to showcase the importance and usefulness of cooperation between different stakeholders and Interreg projects in the Technology Region Karlsruhe, Germany. By doing so, she explained how the two different projects support each other in order to reach for both, but particularly for their target groups (i.e., young innovators / start-ups) the maximum benefits by establishing synergies between the project related activities.

CE-Connector is an Interreg Central Europe project that aims at offering public-private co-financing to startups. The objective of the CE-Connector International Day was to connect start-ups with different need for financing with Business Angels and potential investors. Almost 200 participants from Europe, but also from Australia, USA and Russia joined this 2-day event to present their ideas, discuss them with the audience and to search for appropriate investors. The attendance of the CE-Connector International Day and the presentation of Danube Energy+ resulted in following outcomes:

Young Innovators participating in the Danube Energy+ pilot were invited to pitch their project / product idea during the CE-Connector networking event which will take place on 03.12.2020 in the framework of the IT-Trans fair and conference.
They will be connected to the stakeholders (Business Angels and Investors) of the CE-Connector partner Automotive Engineering Network and get the opportunity to apply for a public-private coinvestment, bringing their ideas / products to the next stage.
