From now on young start-ups and entrepreneurs with a focus on sustainable business models have the possibility to apply for the Green Summer School at Lake Constance in Germany. The entrepreneurs already have accomplished the first steps in finding the solution to their identified problem and are motivated to improve their sustainable products and services in order to get established successfully in the market.

During the five-day workshop in September 2017 the participants will be working intensively on the validation of their business model. Furthermore they have the opportunity to receive professional feedback from corporates, coaches and experts within the sector of green and eco innovation. In teams the entrepreneurs will focus on topics like revenue model, finance, marketing and sales as well as intellectual property rights. At the end of the Green Summer School every participant will have a clear understanding of how revenues can be generated successfully, which promotion channels are the most important for the target group and how they can protect their property rights.

At the last day of the intensive workshop the teams will pitch their ideas to a jury of experts. The best teams will be selected and have the unique chance to get invited to the Green Innovation and Investment Forum in Stuttgart where they can convince potential investors with their business idea!

This year’s Green Summer School takes place from 11 to 15 September 2017 on the campus of the University of Applied Sciences Constance. The event is part of the EcoInn Danube Project implemented within the Danube Transnational Programme and co-funded by European Union funds (ERDF and IPA contribution). The participation is free of charge! Applications of start-up teams and individual entrepreneurs from all over Europe are appreciated and may be submitted here until 30 June 2017.
