INDEED - SEPTEMBER 23-26, 2019 │ROMANIA│INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE "COMBATING MARGINALIZATION AND SOCIAL EXCLUSION IN THE DANUBE REGION"

During this week the International Conference "Combating Marginalization And Social Exclusion In The Danube Region" was organized by the Ministry of Labor and Social Justice (MMJS) in the context of Romania holding the Presidency of the European Union Strategy for the Danube Region (SUERD), at Puflene Resort , in Murighiol, Tulcea county, Romania.

SUERD is a Community instrument for macro-regional cooperation of the riparian states, destined for the social, economic and territorial development of the Danube macroregion, by strengthening the implementation in the region of the policies and the legislation of the European Union.

Mihaela Zamfir, Lecturer PhD Architect at Ion Mincu University of Architecture and Urbanism and Communication Manager for the INDEED Project was invited to be speaker at this event. Mihaela Zamfir supported the presentation with the title ARCHITECTURE AS SUPPORT FOR ACTIVE  AND HEALTHY AGEING IN COMMUNITY. CURRENTS CONCEPTS AND MODELS OF GOOD PRACTICE.

Within this theme Mihaela Zamfir also spoke about the INDEED project. The project attracted public attention, most of them being professionals in the field of social assistance. We mention in particular the appreciations of Mrs. Elena Dobre, Head of Service at the Ministry of Labor and Social Justice, the Department of Social Services Policy and of Mrs. Elena Solomonesc, Secretary of State, the Ministry of Labor and Social Justice. The intervention was also welcomed by the Minister of Labor, Mr. Marius-Constantin Budăi.
