ATTRACTIVE DANUBE - Short Information about the First Serbian Capacity Building Seminar

Institute of Architecture and Urban & Spatial Planning (IAUS) of Serbia organized the 1st Capacity Building Seminar (CBS) within the ATTRACTIVE DANUBE project. Workshop was held in Belgrade on April 22nd, 2019 in the hotel "88 Rooms". It was attended by 25 participants from 12 institutions (representatives of the ministry, public sector, national and regional organizations).

In the first part of CBS presentations, representatives were informed about achieved results of the project, "evidence-based planning" concept was introduced to them, as well as the overview of chosen territorial attractiveness indicators of other national Territorial Attractiveness Monitoring Platforms (TAMP). Finally, draft Memorandum of Understanding  - a letter of Support for sustaining TAMP was presented to the stakeholder representatives. Within the second part of the CBS, a discussion was moderated by IAUS, which addressed the following topics: usability of TAMP and CO-TAMP platforms, national territorial attractiveness indicators, and possibilities for their integration into territorial development policies.

Participants were also briefly informed about the Interreg Danube Transnational Programme project ConnectGREEN.
