On 27th February 2019, Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Štajerska in collaboration with Maribor Development Agency (MRA), organized the Second National Stakeholders Group Meeting in Slovenia, within the WOMEN IN BUSINESS project.

The meeting was attended by representatives of business support organisations, interest groups, NGOs, academia and governmental representative. Project partners presented »National Study of current State of barriers met and needs for supporting of YWE as well as identification of gaps in the policies and opportunities provided by measures for fostering YWE in Slovenia«, which was prepared by MRA. A lively debate followed with ideas and suggestions on how to improve the situation of young women entrepreneurs in Slovenia.

After, the draft concept of European women centres, which will be established in the scope of the project, was presented in order to get advice from the stakeholders on how to set up the most appropriate support structure for women entrepreneurs based on their experiences and know-how from working with business women.

Finally, we invited them to the dissemination event and project meeting, which will be hosted by Slovene project partners in April in Maribor. Some of the stakeholders will be directly involved in the event as they are participating as speakers at the dissemination event or as advisors in the Advisory Board and Transnational Task Group.
