Danube Energy+ - COMMUNICATION KICK-OFF EVENT AND FIRST REGIONAL ALLIANCE MEETING IN KARLSRUHE, GERMANY

The German project partner InnoEnergy held the 1st Regional Communication kick-off event together with the 1st Regional Alliance meeting on 21.02.2019 in Karlsruhe, Germany. The purpose of the Communication event was to present the project among representatives of target groups and give an overview of the main goals of the project and the work of  Regional Alliance.The RA members were introduced and had a chance to present their roles and activities within the regional ecosystem. 

During the Regional Alliance meeting  the main obligations and responsibilities for RA members werde introduced, as well as the pre-final Regional mapping on the Innovators Status Quo in Energy Efficiency. Regional Alliance members took the chance to give their feedback in order to improve and  finalize the Mapping based on their specific expertiseand experience.

The main part of the meeting was dedicated to the workshop for RA members in terms of discussing some essential topics related to the role of the regional ecosystem  in boosting the potential of Young Innovatoprs and the specific role of the project  within the regional ecosystem and also within the Danube macro region. Based on the outputs and results of the fisrt Partner Meeting in Slovenia in Februrary the  RA members also provided tehir opinion and support on further  development of the Danune Energy + Tool.The RA members worked in 2 different teams  and presented their results and discussed the outputs of each working group.

To have a more practical view on  different aspects of starting up in energy sector a young start-up team from BRC Solar GmbH shared their own experience. This input is valuable for the work of the RA as it provides insights into the process of and idea becoming a start-up and emphasizing the importance of a sound ecosystem supporting young innovators from the idea stage up to the end product or services.
