KICK-OFF EVENT - BUDAPEST, 23-24 SEPTEMBER 2015

24-08-2018

The Danube Transnational Programme organised its Kick-off event in Budapest (Hungary) on 23 and 24 September 2015. It was the launch ceremony of the programme and the announcement of the first call for project proposals to be open on 23rd September 2015.

The kick-off event had an official, general dimension as well as a more practical, technical one with a twofold aim:

- Present the programme, its context and the first call for proposals

- Support potential applicants in the preparation of project proposals

More than 500 stakeholders, decision-makers and potential partners, representing national, regional and local authorities, as well as other relevant actors, had the opportunity to meet, share their visions for the programme area and develop project ideas. The first day of the event was webstreamed through the programme website. More than 100 people followed online the event, achieveing the webstreaming 1282 visits.

The first day comprised of stakeholders’ presentations and a part dedicated to present the programme and the first call for proposals. There was time as well for a panel discussion on the links and differences with the EUSDR and other transnational programmes in the area. On the second day of the event, the participants had the opportunity to join one of the eight thematic workshops. The parallel workshops dealt with more concrete aspects related to the specific objectives within the four priorities axis.

The Partner-search area displayed project ideas to facilitate the networking possibilities and the proposal generation.

All presentations, photos and videos are available in the event website.
