Partner´S Meeting and Workshop in Novi Sad, Serbia_6-9 May 2018

 
 

On May 6-9 the DANUrB project held its sixth partner´s meeting and workshop in Novi Sad, Serbia. The event was organized by the Faculty of Technical Sciences, University of Novi Sad and brought together more than 40 researchers and 60 students from 7 countries, for whom a rich four-day program full of excursions, round table discussions and student workshops was prepared.

Exhibition of Student Architectural Works: Komárno - Komárom

 
 

The two main partners of the Interreg DTP´s project DANUrB - Faculty of Architecture STU (FA STU) in Bratislava and Department of Urban Planning of BME in Budapest - organised on May 23, 2018 the exhibition of student architectural works which dealt with the locations of twin cities Komárno (SK) - Komárom (HU). This event gathered more than 50 people and was held under the auspices of László Stubendek, Mayor of Komárno.

Expanded Garden Microlab in Štúrovo (Oikodrom)

 
 

From May 22 to 26 the artist collective Irene Lucas and Christoph Euler implemented the Expanded Garden microlab at Gymnasium in Štúrovo, Slovakia. Students were invited to propose how to preserve local networks and traditional knowledge of food production. They visited the local partners‘ sites and workshops and all participating stakeholders were asked to design a pop-up microlab concept in the frame of an exhibition or summer camp. The next Expanded Garden session will take place in Ottensheim / Upper Austria.

CALL FOR PARTICIPATION / INTERNATIONAL BUILDING CAMP IN HUNGARY

 
 

In the frame of the DANUrB project the Budapest University of Technology and Economics / Urban Planning and Design Department (BME), the Hungarian Contemporary Architecture Centre (KÉK) and Esztergom Municipality organise an international building camp in Esztergom (Hungary) that will take place from the 30th of June until the 8th of July. For the camp we invite 30 students from 5 countries: Austria, Hungary, Romania, Serbia and Slovakia - architect and landscape architect students. Come and join us!

INVITATION - DANUBE DAY CELEBRATION IN ŠTÚROVO / ESZTERGOM / RÁCKEVE

 
 

The International Day of the Danube is celebrated annually on 29th June, accordingly several cities and several countries join this event with various cultural and sport programs. In Hungary we joined the international event last year and this year as well with a series of programs called ‘Danube Days’ within the frames of the Interreg DANUrB – Danube Urban Brand – project. The cities of Esztergom and Štúrovo, Government of Pest Megye, Government of Ráckeve, Government of Szigetbecse, Abascum Studio, Árpád Museum in Ráckeve – together with other partners – are waiting for the participants with a variety of programs. We would like to cordially invite you to participate in these magnificent events.
