DANUBE TRANSNATIONAL PROGRAMME WISHES YOU A NEW YEAR FULL OF COOPERATION

2015 has been the starting point of a new transnational programme full of potentialities but also challenges. 14 countries in the Danube Region gathers together to tackle common needs in specific topics. With the aim to promote economic, social and territorial cohesion in the area, the Danube Transnational Programme was endorsed by the European Commission on 20 August 2015. On 23 September, both the Programme and the first call for proposals were officially launched in Budapest. The call was a success with the submision of 576 Expressions of Interest.

2016 will see the approval of the first projects and the launch of the second call. Several related events will be organised.

We wish to all those who have contributed in one way or another to the Danube Transnational Programme in 2015, Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year with lots of cooperation opportunities.
