    The purpose of the this application is to demonstrate increased water-use efficiency in Bosnia and Herzegovina (such as multi-purpose reservoir Modrac) water resources operations through the innovative application of meteorological/climate, hydrologist and decision science. The project included the development and demonstration of integrated operational methodologies to allow the utilization of climate and hydrologic forecasts and associated uncertainty to guide reservoir management decisions pertaining to hydroelectric power production, water conservation, flood control and ecosystem health for the large multi-purpose reservoirs.

    Main objective of this project is to develop AI application that will include an innovative tool for multi-purpOse reservoir management.

    Main results and core outputs

    This application will consists on the integration of different technologies, that have been developed and proven elsewhere and which provide high quality and reliable information to the end-user. Innovative tools help in forecasting reservoir inflow and outflow, thus increasing reservoir performance and more controlled release of water in the environment. They allow assessment of the dam condition resulting in optimization of Operation and Maintenance (O&M), while rapid and risk based assessment of dam safety provides information for emergency response and improved risk reduction.
    The core advantage of this modelling is the skill of the software to plot the input–output patterns without the aforementioned expertise of the factors a affecting the forecast parameters.
    Our SW application connecting digital transformation and AI to work hand-in-hand in acerating flood forecast with smart prioritization. In next chapter there is content of SW application.

    Main foreseen activities

    For our Market model B2C customers are population who are living near reservoir & dam cc 200 000. The value for them is in accurate and timely reporting on the movements of reservoirs and lakes, in terms of floods, droughts, which brings many benefits to the local population when planning many activities, including agricultural and security.
    For B2G: Municipalities and government bodies related to environmental activities. Linking real lite measurement stations with data created by artificial intelligence can solve and help create many action plans and shifts for narrower and wider areas.

    Innovative character of the project idea

    Collecting experience from practice, we are finding effective ways to solve problems of flood warning capabilities with which we are facing in the practice. We have software innovative solution (supported by artificial intelligence & machine learning & big date analytics) for monitoring and predict flood in reservoir (lake) & dam area. The key customers are all population, enterprises, and government sector.
