Who we are

The management and support of the Danube Region Programme are overseen by several programme bodies tasked with programme administration and project assistance. These bodies comprise representatives from all partner countries. DRP also supports the implementation of the EU Strategy for the Danube Region (EUSDR).

DRP at a glance

The Interreg Danube Region Programme (DRP) is a transnational funding programme, co-funded by the European Union. We help advance competitiveness and sustainable development of the programme's area through innovation, green transition, social inclusion and better regional governance.

What we finance

While cooperation is part of everything we do, our activities focus on areas where transnational cooperation provides best opportunities for driving positive change of the Danube Region. The programme has four Priorities that are divided into ten Specific Objectives.

How to apply

Do you have a promising idea for a transnational project? On this page you can find all you need to know before you start applying for funding from the Interreg Danube Region Programme.

Implementation manual

The Implementation manual gives detailed instructions for lead and all other project partners on carrying out approved projects. It covers everything from contracting to project closure, including reporting and payment. The manual also sets out Interreg Funds rules the projects have to follow.
