DAPhNE - Dissemination - Austrian Logistics Day 2017

DAPhNE project partners, University of Applied Sciences Upper Austria (FHOO) and Ennshafen Port (EHOO) atended the annual Austrian Logistics-Day, which was held on the 20th and 21st of June 2017.

More than 800 experts in the field of logistics attended the annual Austrian Logistics-Day and the Future-Lab at the Design Center in Linz (Austria). During different sessions, various  current topics in the field of logistics were discussed by 48 speakers and moderators with participants. On the first day, during the Future-Lab, future-oriented themes such  as Augmented Reality, Internet of Things and Robotics were discussed.

In addition, one session was about the future challenges for Human Ressources in the age of Industry 4.0., which provided input for the DAPhNE project for FHOO. On the second day, topics such as the digital forwarding process, innovations in logistics and digitalisation of logistics were discussed. During the two-day event, participants had the opportunity to visit an exhibition, at which 50 exhibitors from industry and research & development informed about the latest developments in IT, technology and logistics services. Ennshafen Port also had an exhibition stand and informed interested participants about the DAPhNE project.
