DriDanube - Engaging Stakeholders on National Level

19-05-2017

DriDanube partners will soon start with the round of National Briefing Seminars in all 10 participating countries. The aim is to inform stakeholders about the planned tools and strategy, exchange their ideas and expectations on DriDanube outputs and discuss with them the main challenges in their daily operations when it comes to drought management on a national level.

Main expected outcomes from this 1st round of national events are:

  •           Identification of important stakeholders
  •           Information on current status of the drought management and identified gaps
  •           Linkages with similar ongoing processes in each country as an opportunity to join efforts and capitalise on existing knowledge
  •           Support in development of the Drought User Service, Risk and Impacts methodologies and Strategy for improving drought management in the region and on that way ensured sustainability of the outputs after the project ends.
