Social entrepreneurship among women with disabilities

Humanitarian organization ADRA from BiH is fully committed to social justice focusing on practicing social entrepreneurship among people whose working skills are limited. In November 2016, ADRA launched free sewing and tailoring training aimed at the economic empowerment of women with disabilities providing participants with new skills that will help them get a job more easily. After the training, redesigned clothes workshop was established where women with disabilities found employment.

Whole initiative has started to draw attention to the importance of women with disabilities work and to raise awareness about the environmental protection, using textile bags to support an effort to reduce the use of plastic bags as much as possible.

Young generation need to develop productive attitude about necessity of inclusion of social groups who's chances are limited and through project „Strengthening social innovation and entrepreneurial spirit of secondary schools’ students by using highly innovative Learning System-InnoSchool“ , financed through EU Interreg Danube Transnational Programme, one of the priority themes is the high school students. Through the Serious Game online system our students will learn more about the inclusion of the excluded groups.
