Within The 1st Krems Dementia Conference (Austria) which proved the coordinated efforts in Europe between East and West, the INDEED Project team from Bosnia participated as an example of good practice for cross boarder cooperation with a presentation a of a common efforts of Western Balkan countries in development of National Plans for fighting dementia. In the panel discussion after the presentation it was identified the necessity of collaboration between countries of Danube Region  in the transfer of knowledges, experiences.  It was also identified  the importance of creating similar surroundings with same chances for the people with dementia (PwD) in all the countries. Regional meeting in Sarajevo in April,2018 under the patronate of WHO, ADI, Alzheimer Europe and Sarajevo Statement on Dementia in Western Balkan countries is the light exemple of that collaboration.
