27-09-2019

On the 22 of August 2019 took place in Ungheni, Republic of Moldova, the Annual Forum of Educators from the district of Ungheni. Approximately 200 teachers, school directors, the Minister of Education, Culture and Research of the Republic of Moldova and business and media representatives had the opportunity to learn about the InnoSchool project and the opportunity to engage in the Pilot phase of our project.

Angela Ciocirlan, president of FĂCLIA Association and one of the 11 partners involved in the InnoSchool project, presented the role of the organizations that aim to contribute to the education of young people through innovative programs: "InnoSchool will achieve the need for societal change in the sense of developing the entrepreneurial culture, stimulating the involvement and social innovation among young people through an innovative learning system focused on developing entrepreneurial skills, through a synergy between traditional teaching practices and new methods, through digital activities, online socialization and inter-school competitions”.

Liliana Nicolăescu-Onofrei, Minister of Education, Culture and Research of the Republic of Moldova, present at the event, appreciated the initiative of InnoSchool and expressed her conviction that it has significant potential for sustainability and transferability. The minister emphasized: “Knowledge is no longer considered a goal, but means of developing the individual's ability to adapt socially. School is life itself. She cannot remain alien to the social environment. Moreover, it must mirror the outside realities, so that the child can be better prepared for work integration and life. Thus organized, the school becomes a true educational environment: on the one hand, the students benefit from opportunities to develop their native talents, on the other hand, they are trained to develop social life skills”.

We are proud of our colleagues from Moldova for their initiative to spread the word about the InnoSchool project and to gather important support from the highest policy bodies.
