GREEN DANUBE - raising public awareness

28-05-2019

The Environmental Information Centre/ EIC in Galati, Romania was visited today, 28 May 2019, by secondary school children from the village of Varlezi.

The enthusiastic group discussed with CERONAV experts about environmental protection issues and were instructed in survival technics.

Actions like the one of today were included in the plan for future events to be organised within the newly developed EIC when the concept of the centre was designed, almost two years ago, and is proof of a well planned use of the centre both during and after project lifetime.

At the end of the visit, children were offered promotional materials to remind them of the valuable information received.
