DA-SPACE - TRANSFERABILITY WORKSHOPS IN REPUBLIC OF MOLDOVA AND UKRAINE

To make sure that the results of DA-SPACE project will be used also outside the DA-SPACE partners’ regions, the consortium developed a transferability concept to allow a smooth transfer of knowledge towards interested third parties. The consortium has committed itself to run 4 Transferability workshops to share and transfer the DA- SPACE Open Innovation Lab model and Entrepreneurship Training in regions interested in the open innovation approach.

“Dunărea de Jos” University of Galați, with support of APTE Romanian project partner, organized 2 of these workshops in Republic of Moldova and Ukraine.

The first workshop was organized at the Trade Co-operative University of Moldova, in Chisinău, on 27th of February, while the 2nd workshop was organized at Izmail State University of Humanities, Ukraine.

Seven members from 3 partners of the DA-SPACE project team participated at the event: 4 from UDJG, 2 from APTE and one from bwcon GmbH.

The agenda of the two events followed closely the same points, tailored according to local specificity:

The workshop organized at the Trade Co-operative University of Moldova on 27th of February was attended by 25 representatives of the management of UCCM, the State University of Physical Education and Sport, the Institute of Education Sciences, the Ministry of Education, Culture and Research, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Police General Inspectorate, the Central Union of Consumption Cooperatives, the National Bank of Moldova, JSC "Apă Canal" and Urecoop Stăşeni.

The welcome speeches were held by the Rector of UCCM, Prof. dr. Hab. Larisa Şavga, and Prof. Florin Popescu from "Dunarea de Jos" University, Galati. The presentations included discussions and exchanges of views on the concept of open innovation and the activities of the UDJG Open Innovation Lab.

The workshop organized at Izmail State University of Humanities, Ukraine on 1st of February was attended by 24 representatives of Izmail State University of Humanities, the City of Ismail, a Ukrainian maritime university, non-governmental organizations, as well as representatives of small medium enterprises. The workshop was attended during the second part also by students interested in Entrepreneurship Training.

The welcome speeches were held by the Rector of UCCM, prof. dr. Yaroslav Kichuk and the Vice Mayor of City of Izmail.

Organizing these workshops was a huge commitment from “Dunărea de Jos” University of Galați side, but it contributed to achieve with high success 2 strategic events of the project.
