On 5th and 6th November ACTEDJ’s representatives have participated to the National Forum for European Union Strategy for Danube Region with the theme “Increasing the cohesion for a common prosperity in the Danube Region”.
The event enabled the participation and implication of all the relevant stakeholders that dedicated their efforts to implementing the strategy through concrete projects.
During the event, the results of the previous Danube Transnational Program Call and also the predictions for the 3rd call were presented. The event was structured as a plenary session where the updated information was presented and workshops session, space for ideas spreading and also developing new concrete projects. Therefore, ACTEDJ team had the opportunity to disseminate the GREEN DANUBE project results among the event participants during the first day workshop sessions dedicated to the civil society implication in the Danube Strategy implementation. Also, due to the fact that ACTEDJ is a member of the Danube Region Consultative Committee, the opportunity presented itself in terms of discussing the GREEN DANUBE sustainability measures also follow up projects that will capitalize its results within the second day open session dedicated to the Danube Strategy Action plan revision.
