On 2 November, the ENERGY BARGE project partner ARBIO (Romanian Association of Biomass and Biogas) participated at the Second Policy Dialogue and EUSDR PA's Cross-fertilisation Workshop. The workshop, organised by the project Made in Danube, was held in Bucharest at the premises of the Romanian Ministry of Research and Innovation under the title Competitiveness and Innovation for Long-lasting Transnational Collaboration in the Danube Region's Bio-economy field.

During the workshop, the EUSDR Priority Areas with a focus on bioeconomy were discussed among the stakeholders, coming from national public authorities and policy makers. Ways to improve the framework conditions for the bioeconomy in the Danube region were discussed in depth among the participants.

The representative of the ENERGY BARGE project, Mr Grigoris Papageorgiadis, had the opportunity to present the scopes and the progress of the project, as well as the latest developments of the biomass sector in Romania.
