On behalf of the ENERGY BARGE project consortium I would like to kindly invite you to attend our Kick-off meeting on 28th February 2017 in Linz, Austria.

The event will take place at the Park Inn by Radisson Linz Hotel, Hessenplatz 16-18, 4020 Linz.

During this event we will present the unique ENERGY BARGE project. Its main objective is to exploit the potential for green energy in the form of biomass along the Danube river in a sustainable way, thereby increasing energy security and efficiency in the Danube countries.

An outstanding feature of the ENERGY BARGE project is its cross-sectoral approach: the project will bring together key actors along the entire value chain, Danube ports as well as relevant public authorities and policy stakeholders.

The presentations about the ENERGY BARGE project will be complemented through key note presentations by representatives from the bioenergy/logistics sector.
