ATTRACTIVE DANUBE - Summary of the Third Bulgarian National Workshop

We are pleased to inform you that The closing Bulgarian National Workshop of the ATTRACTIVE DANUBE project took place on 19th April 2018, in Sofia at the Hotel Gloria Palace Diplomat. The workshop was attended by a total of 42 participants.

The seminar aimed to help stakeholders in the decision-making process in shaping public and business policies. This was the third and final seminar during which the conditions for increasing the potential of territorial assets and factors that make the area more attractive to its residents, visitors and business were discussed. Part of the workshop was focused also on The National and Common Platform for Monitoring the Attractiveness of the Territory.

Main topics which were covered:

  • Introduction of the concept of attractiveness of the territory and the aim of involving all stakeholders in the process;
  • Determining the territorial attractiveness (TA) of the respective territorial unit (country, region or municipality) in the country;
  • Presentation of the National Teritorial Attractiveness Monitoring  Platform (TAMP);
  • Presentation of the Common Teritorial Attractiveness Monitoring  Platform (CO-TAMP).
