MOVECO - Ellen MacArthur Foundation's CE100 Acceleration workshop

The acceleration workshop of Ellen MacArthur Foundation CE100 programme with approximately 150 participants took place in Krickenbeck Schloss near Düsseldorf (Germany) from April 17th until 19th, 2018. Tina Krošelj attended the event on behalf of the Slovenian Ministry of the Environment and Spatial Planning, one of twelve MOVECO partners.

The goal of the workshop was to work on future collaboration possibilities, to connect with stakeholders (companies, governments, cities, and research and development organisations) also transiting towards circular economy. Regarding leading the MOVECO project result – preparation of a circular economy strategy for the Danube region and assist in preparation of roadmaps for three different country groups. Ms. Tina Krošelj’s participation was needed in order to identify the current challenges and needs of small and medium sized enterprises regarding circular economy as well as gather as much as possible case studies and stakeholder’s experiences also outside the Danube region.

The MOVECO partnership comprises representatives from government agencies, business support organisations, research and development facilities and civil society organisations – all committed to unleashing the circular economy in the Danube region.
