The Bratislava Self-Governing Region (BSGR) organized the first training for regional mobility managers on 12 December 2017 for stakeholders working in the field of tourism, mobility and transport.

Altogether 10 representatives from the Ministry of Transport, tourist information centers, Bratislava Tourist Board, tour operators, Bratislava integrated transport company and from the department of tourism from the Bratislava Self-Governing region attended the training. The training addressed the “Sustainable Regional Tourism Mobility Plan” (SRTMP) and provided a definition of a “Pearl”. Besides, the mobility information centers that are also planned to be established in Bratislava have been discussed.

The regional training is the follow-on action of the transnational training organized for 30 partners and stakeholders form the tourism and mobility sector in Silistra, Bulgaria from 5-7 October. Based on this training, all project partners will adapt the training material to the country-specific framework conditions and carry out regional trainings in order to transmit their acquired knowledge to stakeholders and to embed the concept of sustainable mobility in tourism on the regional level. In this context, partners from Bratislava successfully realized the regional training.
