Transdanube.Pearls - First workshop with stakeholder on the project Transdanube.Pearls organized by VIDIN

On 5 December 2017, the Regional Administration of Vidin Region (VIDIN) organized the first stakeholder workshop. For this purpose, the regional governor of Vidin region, Albena Georgieva, opened the event and emphasized the successful cooperation in the former project Transdanube.Pearls and the current goal to work to create sustainable solutions for mobility and tourism services, based on environmentally friendly means of transport.

The workshop was attended by owners and representatives of transport, tourism companies and hotels, transport and tourism experts from the municipalities in the region, state institutions and non-governmental organizations. The workshop informed about the project objectives and the latest project activities. Stakeholders welcomed the active role of the Vidin Region as project partner in this project and discussed the possibilities for Vidin to become a Pearl and the participation in further activities during project lifetime. The next workshop is scheduled for March 2018.
