CrowdStream - 1-st Stakeholder Meeting in Zagreb

 Within the project „CROWDfunding to mainSTREAM innovation“, 1st CrowdStream Stakeholder Meeting was held in Zagreb on November 3rd 2017.
The main goal was to present regional analysis of potentials and opportunities of crowdfunding as well as discussion on needs of local SMEs in terms of access to alternative financing. The Meeting was attended by representatives of regional authorities, business support organizations, local SMEs, start-ups and clusters.
Marko Helfrih presented the CrowdStream project and regional characteristics on CF regarding economic, legal and investment situation, CF main actors, platforms and volume. The presentation was followed by Ladislav Jurić who presented his successful CF campaign Baggizmo, including the main difficulties they encountered during and after the campaign.
Afterwards, presentation on cultural and creative industries support to CF campaigners was held by Ivana Nikolić from Croatian Cluster of Competitiveness of Creative and Cultural industries.
During the event, there was a discussion on main problems and needs of local SMEs and start-ups and stakeholders identified the main internal and external difficulties as well as suggestions for improving support actions in terms of CF.
