AgriGo4Cities - November 2017: the Partners met in Munich to learn and discuss UPA

01-12-2017

We are happy to share the success of our most recent Partners Meeting held in Munich, Germany.

Between November 21st and November 24th, 2017, the partners in AgriGo4Cities met in the Bavarian capital for a conference hosted by Ifuplan, one of the project's strategic partners.

During the first two days, the partners cooperated on a transnational training course: the aim was for experts (trainers) and relevant stakeholders (trainees) to share knowledge on participatory planning, social as well as the economic inclusion of vulnerable groups and, of course, Participatory Urban Agriculture. The international aspect of the training session was fundamental for the participants to learn and exchange experiences about international good practices and characteristics of Urban Agriculture.

The training was followed, on November 23rd by a Study Visit, which allowed the partners to expand their insights on local practices: by comparing and experiencing a new environment, they were able to discover and analyze new aspects of Urban Agriculture.

Finally, on November 24th, the conference was concluded by the actual project meeting, where the Project Partners took the chance to share their own local, relevant news as well as their singular progress within the project and the progress of AgriGo4Cities as a whole. They exchanged opinions and gave suggestions on how to further improve the project's achievements.
