After all presentations the participants were invited to provide their feedback on the proposed measures for implementation of the pilot action in Kamnik. Some of the main stakeholder suggestions were:
- It is necessary to define what type of walkability will be promoted through the pilot measures, taking into account the specifics of Kamnik;
- It is necessary to adapt the pilot measures for walkability to the habits of the people and to ensure their safety;
- There is a need to raise awareness of benefits of walkability in schools;
- It is necessary to link different transport regimes;
- It is necessary to persuade individuals who can, but do not walk, to walk, and facilitate the walkability of vulnerable target groups (elderly, mums with strollers);
- It is necessary to address and resolve the dangerous location points for pedestrians, bikers and disabled citizens.
The invitation to the Transnational Symposium in Ptuj was given to all participants.
