CityWalk - Introducing the first story of the DTP's campaign "Real people. Real stories."
05-10-2017
The main focus of the Danube Transnational Programme is citizens of the Danube region. In order to make the area more prosperous, better connected, more integrated and secure place the DTP started a campaign "Real people. Real stories." As the name of the campaign clearly indicates the main roles of these stories are real people, whose lives are positively affected by the DTP projects.
The first DTP project who contributed a story from one of their citizens’ being positively affected by the project work was no other than CityWalk.
Ljudmila from Ptuj (Slovenia) is a owner of a small shop located on an excellent location in the old city center. Due to the traffic disorder her customers are experiencing difficulties: cars are parked right in front of the entrance to the store making it impossible to access the shop.

The CityWalk project appreciates Ljudmila’s work and acknowledges the problems. Partners are trying to find the solutions ...

The City Municipality of Ptuj also addressed Ljudmila’s call for help ...

The campaign "Real people. Real stories." has two main goals:
- to give an opportunity to real people - to have a say on how their lives are affected by the projects;
- to show why the transnational dimension is needed - bringing people back together is something that is highly required in the light of tensions spreading over our Europe.
More stories are coming soon. Stay tuned on the DTP website or their Facebook account.
