D-STIR - Last stakeholders meeting in Slovenia

In June, Development Centre of the Heart of Slovenia organized the last workshop for companies in the wood industry, with whom D-STIR partner actively approached the promotion of responsible research and innovation in local companies in Heart of Slovenia area (5 municipalities). Two final workshops were held on May 29 and June 18, 2019 in Velika Preska. The last workshop was in second part of the agenda also organised as meeting with stakeholders. 

Both workshops were held with the aim of presenting already existing good practices from the local environment to the topic of designing innovative products and services that are responsible towards the environment. Workshop on 29th May was attended by representative of the Ministry of Economic Development and Technology, which presented national funds from the field of Responsible Research and Innovation.  The last workshop in June was joined by the director of DEWESoft, Andrej Orožen, who emphasized the importance of cooperation between different sectors and generations. An example of good practice was presented by Katapult, entrepreneurial accelerator, primarily aimed at companies with a physical product that helps businesses to responsibly industrialize and to accelerate their growth.

The workshop was also intended for a regular meeting with stakeholders of the D-STIR project. During the meeting with stakeholders Anita Molka and Anamarija Kamin discussed results of D-STIR project, and consulted with stakeholders on RRI strategy and D-STIR policy recommendations.
