FORESDA - Danube and Mediterranean will make the difference!

08-02-2019

The capitalization among Interreg Danube projects is interesting, but the capitalization among Interreg Danube and Mediterranean even more! Last week Croatian Wood Cluster was invited to participate in the GREENOMED project meeting in Lyon to discuss the practical transfer of the GREENOMED methodology and best practices and lessons learned in different regional innovation ecosystems. It was a great opportunity to meet the GREENOMED project partners and to brainstorm on the possibilities of how to connect the experience gained within FORESDA activities linked to the collaboration networks. The GREENOMED methodology is designed to be implemented by clusters and other regional intermediaries in order to design pilot plants for green manufacturing through a collaborative process within the regional innovation ecosystem and involving different types of regional stakeholders. The methodology is designed based on the experience gained in Vanguard Initiative by three GREENOMED partners (CNR, AFIL and EURECAT). The GREENOMED methodology is being implemented by 6 MED regions involved in GREENOMED project enabling them to conceive and design pilot plants for green manufacturing, supporting technology uptake in a logic of smart specialisation of involved regions and based on an inter-regional cooperative framework (Vanguard Initiative). The pilot plants will be a part of an EU network of pilot plants. The 6 regions which implement and test the GREENOMED methodology are: Continental Croatia (Croatia), East and West Slovenia, Region of Central Macedonia (Greece), Marche Region (Italy)
and Rhone-Alpes (France). More about GREENOMED...
