DBS Gateway Region - DBS GATEWAY REGION - TRANSNATIONAL WORKSHOPS - Event News and Presentations

More than 100 experts from Central and East European Countries came together on 14th November 2018 at the Hotel Sheraton in Novi Sad and on 15th November 2018 at the Port Authority/ Agency for Inland Waterways in Vukovar for the Transnational Workshops on Capacity Building and Know-How Transfer of the Danube-Black Sea (DBS) Gateway Region project. The workshops were organised by the University of Novi Sad, Faculty of Technical Sciences and the Port Authority Vukovar together with Freeport of Budapest Logistics Ltd.

Topics discussed focused on:

  • Existing funding instruments for the implementation of relevant projects supporting the development of the DBS Gateway Region (including best practice examples!)
  • Cooperation Strategy for long-term collaboration of relevant stakeholders in the DBS Gateway Region

The general presentations were complemented by working groups and exchange of experience between representatives from Transport Ministries, local and regional authorities, Danube and Black Sea ports, special interest groups, research institutions and universities as well as private companies.

It was a unique opportunity to connect with key stakeholders in the region!
