The biggest attraction of Tour & Picnic Event was the introduction of the Virtual Reality to the public. Zoltán Bara introduced Emil Újházy, the sales representative of COMP4CORP Ltd. that participated on development of the VR software and provided the technical background for the presentation. The enthusiastic „traveller“ can take a virtual tour in the fortification system of Komarno, experience the history, find description of weapons and follow the fight of hussars on the yard of the fortress. VR – Virtual Reality will serve to promote the region on tourism and travel fairs resp. exhibitions and the VR system will be placed in the Fortress to attract more visitors. The primary objective is to promote the region, attract more foreign visitors and the general public. The information about the fortress will be available in three languages (English, Hungarian and Slovak).

Following the press conference the VR was made available to experience by the general public. It was attracted by representatives of different age groups queuing to be a part of a unique experience. The visitors of the event had possibility to ask questions and further information about the development. Around 180 guests participated on Tour & Picnic Event of the INSiGHTS project leaving them satisfied with plenty of new experience. The one-day long event was organized around the local fair trade and degustation of local products.
