Joint Interreg V B Programme Exhibition at the EWRC

Happy second day greeting to all of the European Week of Regions and Cities 2018 (EWRC) participants!

This year, the Interreg Transnational cooperation programmes, also known as "B" strand progammes, have decided to co-organise an exhibition at the AGORA exhibition hall. DTP is there also so you should come say hi as we will have our stand throughout the Week. You'll have the possibility to discover Interreg projects from other Transnational programmes that helps cities and regions manage their limited resources. It is because all of our projects predominantly contribute to the preservation of resources and the environment!

Yesterday, our RegioStars Awards finalist Iron-Age-Danube held the stand from 16:30 - 18:00 and today from 10:30 – 11:00, a session, exposing the needs for cooperation now more than ever in Central Europe, took a closer look at the importance of transnational cooperation in this region. If you've missed them, don't worry, we got your back! There's another couple of events tomorrow that might catch your interest in our agenda & some pictures from the first day of the event:

  • 10 October 14:00 – 16:00: Interreg talks – 6 projects, one slam: Organised by Interact, this workshop session highlights and features 6 outstanding Interreg transnational projects among which, our very own DRIM is a finalist. Vote for their video here! The 6 projects are invited to perform at the Silver Hall, The Square.
  • 10 October 16:30 – 18:00: Idea lab on the future of transnational Interreg cooperation:  This session uses World Café style discussions to generate ideas for how transnational cooperation can be further developed to benefit European cohesion, improving the lives of European citizens. (DTP is in charge of one of the Group Discussions on the EU Macro-Regional Strategies)
