The implementation of the Excellence-in-ReSTI project is in full swing:  In this volume you take a glance at our recent Belgrade Dissemination event, the third Project Management and Steering Committee Meeting, the ReSTI Infodesk online launch and the presentation of the ReSTI pilot training in Eisenstadt, which have been just a few of the activities within the Excellence-in-ReSTI project in the past two months! BECOME A ReSTI PROJECT MANAGEMENT EXPERT AND TAKE PART IN THE PILOT TRAINING: APPLICATION DEADLINE: MAY 31!

 
       
 

Excellence-in-ReSTI welcomes applications from all candidates who fulfil the specific profile of eligibility criteria, (i.e. resident in Danube Region countries with at least a Bachelor’s degree and fluent English, working with or interested in STI projects) irrespective of gender, disability, marital or parental status, racial, ethnic or social origin, colour, religion, belief or sexual orientation. The main objective of the Excellence-in-ReSTI Project is to offer Excellence-in-ReSTI Project Management advice, theories and practices, and methods and tools generated by and for the multicultural environment of the Danube Region with its specific regional challenges.  Consisting of five modules including EU Policies, Project Design, Project Management, Social Innovation and Innovation in the Business Context), the pilot curriculum aims to enhance participants’ competences in developing and managing projects, paying particular attention to the EU policy dimension of research, social and technological innovation in the Danube Region.

REVIEW – EVENT IN FOCUS: BELGRADE DISSEMINATION EVENT

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

On Thursday, March 1st 2018, the Faculty of Economics, Belgrade University hosted a conference entitled “Bridging the gaps in Research Social and Technological Project Management in the Danube Region” and welcomed more than 70 participants and experts in the areas of innovation, science and business from the entire Danube region.

Within the conference, after the speech delivered by the keynote speakers on R&I landscape in Serbia and the role of the Danube Transnational Programme within, two panel discussions were held dealing with the following topics: “What is the true impact of research and innovation projects in the Danube Region? Entrepreneurial and policy making perspectives” and “Towards capitalization strategy goals: How to fill the knowledge gaps by linking projects with complementary topics?”

The conference ended with a special event “Reaching through the five doors”, a workshop inviting participants to a given problem using the five-door approach which is the innovative didactive concept of the ReSTI pilot training

THE THIRD PROJECT MANAGEMENT MEETING – INSIGHTS FOR ReSTI INSIDERS

 

 

 

The objective of the 3rd Project Management and Steering Committee Meeting – which took place in Belgrade on February 28th – was to discuss and make decisions about the most relevant project issues for the current project period. The meeting resulted in decisions taken about the specific project deliverables to be finished until the end of period (June 30th, 2018). The most important deliverables in this period are: Background analysis report with survey results, the  final draft curriculum, courses and modules, a final definition of  selection criteria and application process, and, finally, the selection list of funded ReSTI pilot training participants

This ReSTI Infodesk is an online tool providing the first contact point, project management know-how and self-tests for any interested individuals, including participants of the ReSTI pilot training seeking information related to the management of social and technological innovation projects.

EXCELLENCE-IN-RESTI – BOOST YOUR CAREER WITH THE RESTI PILOT TRAINING

 

 

 

This promising invitation attracted dozens of students and interested alumni attending the Career Dating Event at University of Applied Sciences (FHB) in Eisenstadt on March 16th. Each year, renowned companies exhibit their international career opportunities and present themselves as potential employers for high potentials and young project managers.

The forum was buzzing with visitors, and FHB’s Regina Rowland was happy to answer all questions concerning the Call for Participants for the ReSTI Pilot. Who is eligible? How to apply? What is in for me and my career?
