 SECOND PROJECT PARTNER MEETING IN BUDAPEST 

             
 
 

The second project partner meeting of the transnational project “Eco-innovatively connected Danube Region” (EcoInn) was held in Budapest, Hungary on 26th and 27th of September 2017. The meeting was hosted by PP3 – Digitalis Jolet (Hungary) with participation of representatives of all project partners. Work packages and activity leaders represented the achieved results in period 1 of the project and discussed topics regarding upcoming events.

Steering committee meeting was held in which the Communication and Quality plans of the EcoInn project were approved. Next PP’s meeting is going to be held in Slovenia, January,2018.

 

GREEN SUMMER SCHOOL 2017: Green business ideas growing in Constance  

 
               
 

From the 11th till 15th September 2017, 15 future green entrepreneurs coming from all over the Danube regions met at the University of Applied Science in Constance to discuss their business ideas and improve their business model. They were the participants of the first Green Summer School organized by the Interreg Danube Project EcoInn. The one-week intensive training for you young entrepreneurs and talents with an interest in the ecoinnovation field constitutes the first capacity-building pilot foreseen in the EcoInn project in order to improve the condition for a successful transfer and access of eco-innovative business ideas to the market. Aim of the Green Summer School is to enable innovators, talents and early stage startups to acquire the business skills they need to turn research results and ecoinnovative business ideas into concrete products and services.

Winner of the first EcoInn Green Summer School organized in Germany by bwcon was the team Hexpression. They could impressed the jury presenting a new age sustainable raw material able to bring affordable housing solution for all sections of the society. 

 

 

 

Upcomming events!

Green Innovation and Investment Forum in Stuttgart

 

      

The Forum will take place on 20th and 21st February 2018 in Stuttgart and has a focus on “Smart Green Industry”: wanted are smart business ideas and innovative concepts from the Green Technology sector. Trendsetting solutions from areas such as Environmental Engineering, Green IT, Resource and Energy Efficiency, Smart Grid, Material Efficiency or Smart Production are eligible for submission.

If your solution is convincing, you will get the opportunity to present your business idea to investors and market actors in a six-minute pitch. In the generous matching breaks, there will be time for talks with decision makers, experts and investors.

Owners Teams of the shortlisted ideas will be entitle to attend the exclusive and personalised Green Training Day (on 20th February 2018). Investors, VCs, and SMEs will be invited to the Pitching Day on 21st February 2018 to award the winners of GIIF 2018.

The event is organized in the framework of the EcoInn Project implemented within the Danube Transnational Programme and co-funded by European Union funds (ERDF and IPA contribution). Participation is free of charge for start-ups, researchers and founders.

 

 

ECOINNOVATION FORUM - SUSTAINABLE TECHNOLOGIES FOR THE FUTURE

 
                      
 

In the end of November (30.11. – 1.12.) will take place an international ECOinnovation Forum in Chateau Křtiny in the Czech Republic. 

The aim of the ECOinnovation Forum with the topic “Sustainable Technologies for the Future” is to accelerate the innovative solutions to everyday life. Representatives of international and national institutions, academic and research sphere and representatives of innovative companies of all sizes will meet in attractive area of Chateau Křtiny. This two days event will offer you an interesting discussion on current and future trends in this area and introduce modern sustainable technologies. However, the program will not only remain a vision debate. The ECOinnovation Forum also will present an interesting international projects that bring solutions in the field of modern energy, transport or circular economy. The program will also include presentation of interesting startups and student projects that will introduce sustainable solutions for the 21st century.

 
 
 

INTERNATIONAL STAKEHOLDERS MEETING IN LJUBLJANA, SLOVENIA 

 

The EcoInn Danube project is organizing the International  Stakeholders Meeting aiming to support cooperation between the companies, public institution, researchers and business Experts and mentors focused on eco-innovations. The meeting will take place at Crystal Place in Ljubljana, Slovenia, on 23rd of January 2018 at 09.00 h.
