    The main project's objective is to promote and strengthen the sustainable management of natural resources and biodiversity conservation in Natura 2000 sites along Danube.

    - habitats geospatial analysis (mapping, GIS),
    - monitoring

    The expected results and core outputs will be NATURA 2000 sites in the Danube areas with coordinated management tools (management plans, joint strategies, best practices guides).

    Main foreseen activities

    - ecosystems mapping in relation with anthropic impact,
    - restoration of soil quality in Danube corridor through green infrastructure,
    - improving ecosystems' monitoring.

    The innovative character of the project idea is highlighted by:
    - field assessments and data analysis (monitoring and mapping), which will lead to jointly developed strategies addressing regional needs along Danube;
