    Needs and challenges
(Needs, main problems or challenges to be addressed)

Mountain biking is often looked as an extreme sport or sport for adrenaline junkees, however mtb can be very helpful recreational activity in promoting eco-tourism and raising awareness on natural beauties and cultural heritage of the country. Promoting tourism and eco-tourism opened new set of problems when we're talking on reducing emission of CO2, consumerism and living a "garbage" footprint in local environment. What if we could raise awareness on ecological footprint tourists are leaving by making a new wave of mtb tourists actually contributing to planet saving with their touristic visits? What if tourists would be offered to enjoy the nature, have a recreational weekend of activities and contribute to forestation, instead of just being offered to taste local food, beverages and enjoy local culture? Wouldn't that make a difference? We think it would, Making a mtb touristic platform ECO CHALLANGE where one could join activists in forestation of the areas deeply affected by illegal deforestation.
