Objectives
(main and specific objectives to be achieved)The overall objective of the project is to develop the competencies of city-managers / public administrators in public administration in Romania to promote an efficient administrative system.
Main results and core outputs
Purpose of the project: Professionalization of city-manager functions / public administrators in the Romanian public administration.
Main foreseen activities
• Training modules developed in classical format and e-learning relevant for the development of the competencies of the target group, realized and carried out, both in Romania, Slovakia, Czech Republic and Austria.
• Training packages developed for the training modules delivered in the field of development of public administration modernization strategies
• Exchange of best practices by working visits in similar institutions in Slovakia, Czech Republic, Austria.
• Good Practice Guide developed in the best practice competition organized following the implementation of specialized training programs
Innovative character of the project idea
Following the work visits, the participants will have an obligation to help identify the most important best practices identified in the foreign administrations in which they have exchanged experience. These will be an important part of the Handbook and Good Practice Guide identified with regard to the role of the city-manager / public administrator in Romania, a chapter of which is dedicated to the handbook and good practices identified at European level.
